2013 Tough Sander in Support of the 15-40 Connection
was held on September 7th - Thank You & Come Back Next Year!
|The First Annual Tough Sander in Support of the 15-40 Connection held on Saturday, September 7, 2013, was a huge success, exceeding our original goal of $5,000 by raising over $15,000 including on-site donations. It was a spectacular morning on the beach at Pier Village, Long Branch, NJ, filled with high energy and spirit!|
Our great thanks to all who participated – Sponsors, Race Participants, Donors, Volunteers and Spectators! By being a part of it, you help the mission of the 15-40 Connection to improve cancer survival rates of people between the ages of 15 to 40, an overlooked age group. Support from the Tough Sander funds educational programming at high schools, colleges and organizations, giving the life-saving awareness of early cancer detection and health self-advocacy to countless teens and young adults.
